Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our IT and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing DevOps practices, automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing system reliability using Azure cloud services. You will work closely with developers, system administrators, and QA to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Manage Azure resources (VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, AKS, etc.).
• Administer and optimize Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate testing and deployment workflows.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery of applications and services.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including secrets management and role-based access control.
• Integrate third-party tools like GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or SonarQube as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues across environments.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS resources and deployment practices.
• Experience with ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience in containerization using Docker, and optionally Kubernetes (AKS).
• Familiarity with Git and branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including working with Scrum/Kanban boards.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana (optional).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
