About the Role

Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, debug, and deploy scalable

  data pipelines/ETL logic

  using

  Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Azure DevOps

  .
• Manage Azure DevOps repositories: perform push/pull requests, create/review pull requests, and configure

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Troubleshoot build/release issues and resolve data pipeline errors, including managing dependencies and configuring libraries.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize

  data structures in a Data Lake

  (data ingestion, data preparation, resource development, and quality assurance).
• Conduct

  data integration

  across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure in alignment with architectural decisions.
• Define and implement

  data models and architecture

  to support applications.
• Ensure adherence to

  security and privacy guidelines

  as per client and organizational standards.
• Maintain coding and development best practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Education:

  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum of

  5+ years of professional experience

  in data engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong expertise in:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Azure DevOps (ADO)

• Databricks

• Python

• Proven experience with

  ETL, CI/CD, Data Lakes, Data Modeling, and Data Integration

  .
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in

  data pipelines and builds/releases

  .
• Excellent

  English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Certifications in Azure, Databricks, or related technologies will be considered an added advantage.
