Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative AWS Connect Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade cloud contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in Amazon Connect and related AWS services (Lambda, Lex, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available customer engagement platforms. This role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a passion for modernizing contact center experiences.

Key Responsibilities

An AWS Connect Architect is responsible for the technical delivery and architecture of contact center modernization projects using Amazon Connect. This includes designing contact flows, IVR systems, and chatbots with AWS Lex and Polly, as well as integrating solutions with enterprise applications and third-party platforms. They work with stakeholders and development teams to define requirements and implementation plans. Key duties also involve automating infrastructure with IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, ensuring high availability and security, monitoring and optimizing cloud environments, providing technical guidance, and staying updated on AWS innovations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education:

  A Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is typically required.



• Experience:

  
  
  • Minimum of [5-8]+ years in cloud architecture or software development, with a focus on AWS.
  
  
  • [8]+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
  
  



• Technical Expertise:

  
  
  • Proficiency in core AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and IaC tools.
  
  
  • Understanding of contact center technologies like IVR, CTI, and ACD.
  
  
  • Skills in programming/scripting languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
  
  
  • Knowledge of telephony protocols is beneficial.
  
  



• Soft Skills:

  Strong communication and leadership skills are needed to interact with technical and executive audiences, along with the ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferable qualifications include AWS certifications, experience with other AWS AI/ML services, and experience in specific industry domains like financial services or the public sector.
