Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled AVP - Procurement - Recruitment Category Management to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, category management, and vendor & partner management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance
Manage and maintain category management plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings
Develop and manage procurement contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
Monitor and report on procurement metrics and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement .

Requirements

16-20 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, category management, and vendor & partner management
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, supply chain management, or engineering
