AVP- Model Development (Balance sheet/Treasury)

As a Model/Anlys/Valid Sr Analyst at our company, you will be a seasoned professional contributing to the development of new techniques and processes in the area of risk management. Your role will involve integrating subject matter expertise within a defined area, evaluating complex issues with substantial impact, and assuming leadership roles within teams. You will have a significant impact on projects and teams in the area, influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, enhance, and validate methods for measuring and analyzing risk across all risk types. - Conduct statistical analysis for risk-related projects and data modeling/validation. - Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods such as SAS programming, SQL, and Visual Basic. - Prepare statistical and non-statistical data exploration, validate data, and identify data quality issues. - Analyze and interpret data reports, make recommendations to address business needs, and present results to non-technical audiences. - Generate statistical models to improve data evaluation and identify trends. **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. - Bachelor's or University degree, or equivalent experience.
