As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Financial Crime Advisory Manager at Barclays, you will be embarking on a transformative journey, spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape and driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Role Overview:** You will be part of the UK Corporate Bank Financial Crime Execution team, which encompasses various areas such as Risk Assessment, Enhanced Due Diligence, Governance and Control, Business Implementation, and Financial Crime Advisory. Your mission will involve executing policies and standards set by the Second Line Financial Crime Compliance team, managing the financial crime agenda, onboarding higher-risk clients, assessing financial crime-related risks, overseeing controls, and providing training and communications related to financial crime. **Key Responsibilities:** - Providing support and direction to stakeholders for the delivery of Financial Crime change activities - Maintaining knowledge of financial crime policies, standards, and legislation - Accountable for liaison and oversight of group functions supporting the Financial Crime control environment - Preparing Financial Crime key risk assessments and managing relevant risk documentation - Supporting Financial Crime assurance activities and building a risk-aware culture within the business unit **Qualifications Required:** - Strong technical knowledge of financial crime risk management frameworks - Experience working in a complex matrix structure requiring strong stakeholder management - Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills - Recognized Financial Crime/Anti-Money Laundering risk management qualification - Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and simplify outputs and recommendations - Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator, and proactive mindset It is important to note that this role is based in the Gurgaon office and will require strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
