Citi's Global Legal Affairs and Compliance (GLAC) division plays a crucial role in empowering and safeguarding Citi by offering legal, compliance, investigative, and security services. As part of our team, you will be joining as AVP - Compliance Monitoring in Gurgaon, with responsibilities including assessing compliance risks and controls, conducting risk assessments, performing independent testing activities, reporting control issues, and validating remediation efforts. Key activities for this role involve developing, implementing, and executing compliance testing programs, participating in compliance testing reviews, documenting findings, assisting in the development of Compliance Testing Risk Assessments, and utilizing innovative compliance testing solutions including Data Analytics. Additionally, you will be responsible for building relationships within the compliance function and with other stakeholders, monitoring the risk environment, and informing management of significant compliance matters. Qualifications for this position include 8+ years of experience in Compliance Monitoring and Testing, knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, and auditing principles, as well as strong project management, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a complex organizational structure.
