AV Sales Estimator

Job Description:

The Audio Visual Sales Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate and competitive cost estimates for audio-visual projects. This role involves working closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure that all proposals are comprehensive and aligned with client needs. The Estimator acts as the key contact and subject-matter expert for all proposal activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AV Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in proposal writing or estimator positions.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales, engineering, and project management teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and bid management tools

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for AV installations.
• Understanding of labor costs, material costs, and market pricing for AV components.
• Knowledge of bid lifecycle management, proposal development, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of vendor and supplier relationships within the AV industry.
• Awareness of project management principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for AV systems.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored proposals.
• Evaluate materials, labor, and equipment costs to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Create comprehensive bid packages, including technical specifications, drawings, and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability for AV equipment and materials.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a database of standard costs for AV components and services.
• Support the sales team during client meetings and presentations, providing technical expertise and clarifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies to ensure competitive and current estimates.
• Participate in project handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: From ₹35,117.62 per month
