Job Summary:
Almas Hospital Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automobile Engineer to oversee and manage the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the organization’s transportation fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are regularly serviced, compliant with standards, and fully operational to support hospital logistics and patient services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all Almas Hospital Group vehicles.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely implementation.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with in-house team or external vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, fuel usage, and repair costs.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage breakdowns and emergency repairs efficiently.
• Monitor vehicle performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
• Collaborate with administration to plan budgets for spare parts, repairs, and new vehicle procurement.
• Train drivers on basic vehicle care and safe driving practices.
• Ensure optimal fleet utilization and minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet management (healthcare or corporate fleet preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software (added advantage).
