Automation Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automated testing and a good grasp of manual testing principles. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of testing frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Collaborate with the QA team to convert manual test cases into automated test suites.

• Review and analyse system specifications to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Execute both automated and manual test cases and evaluate the results.

• Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

• Conduct regression testing through automation after code changes and enhancements.

• Participate in code reviews and test plan reviews, providing feedback to improve test quality and coverage.

• Ensure testing aligns with industry quality standards and best practices.

• Continuously improve test automation frameworks, scripts, and processes.

• Maintain clear documentation of automation processes and communicate effectively with the QA team.

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

• Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
