Automation QA

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Execute on test strategies adopted by the team and used in the automated regression testing of these systems
• Assists with secure architecture design reviews and supports preparing applications for security testing
• Ensures security vulnerabilities have been mitigated
• Documents bugs/errors/issues with system applications
• Usually works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
• Assists in the development of testing assignments and schedules
• May require instruction and guidance during certain phases of application systems analysis
• Will work with database installation, upgrades and schema changes

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Master's preferred
• Expertise in Petroleum Engineering, with deep understanding of drilling domain.
• Skilled in project design and execution, interpretation of experimental results, and numerical analysis of data

Desired/Preferred Technology Expertise:

• Good understanding of Agile principles
• Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
• Ability to code JavaScript and shell scripts
• Author automated test cases in Postman/Newman/Jmeter
• Test case authoring and documentation (TFS, Azure DevOps)
• Author automated test cases with following testing tools (Cypress for UI automation, Postman/Newman, JMeter, Jasmine, and Selenium).
• Ability to code shell scripts (bash, shell)
• Database Experience: SQL Server and PostgreSQL (Nice to have)
• Build & CI/CD: MAVEN, Jenkins & Ansible, Containerization
• Competence in Windows and Linux OS
• Cloud: Knowledge in cloud technologies (Azure and Amazon)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹510,932.67 - ₹1,220,942.14 per year
