Job Description

We are seeking a QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in both functional automation and non-functional performance testing. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and execute automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications, while also driving load, stress, and spike testing to ensure our applications are reliable, scalable, and high-performing under varying traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, or equivalent frameworks.
Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and spike tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
Analyze system behavior under heavy load and identify performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
Conduct manual testing when required for exploratory, regression, and usability validation.
Provide detailed reports on test results, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations.
Stay updated with emerging QA automation and performance testing tools and practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–6 years of experience in QA automation and performance testing.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.
Strong understanding of performance metrics: response times, throughput, latency, CPU/memory utilization.
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog) is a plus.
Good knowledge of web & mobile application architecture (frontend, backend, database, services).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for automation/performance test scripting.
