Job Description

QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and spike tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • Analyze system behavior under heavy load and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Conduct manual testing when required for exploratory, regression, and usability validation.
  • Provide detailed reports on test results, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations.
  • Stay updated with emerging QA automation and performance testing tools and practices.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in QA automation and performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics: response times, throughput, latency, CPU/memory utilization.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of web & mobile application architecture (frontend, backend, database, services).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


Good to Have:

  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for automation/performance test scripting.
