Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

ey Responsibilities

• Assist in the

  design, wiring, testing, and commissioning

  of electrical panels and control systems.
• Support in

  PLC programming

  and

  HMI/SCADA development

  under guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform

  field wiring, sensor integration, and troubleshooting

  of automation systems.
• Collaborate with

  mechanical and software teams

  to ensure proper system integration and functionality.
• Participate in

  FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)

  and

  SAT (Site Acceptance Test)

  activities.
• Prepare and maintain

  technical documentation

  , including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and control logic.
• Ensure compliance with

  standards, codes, and safety regulations

  during all activities.
• Provide

  technical support

  during installation, start-up, and maintenance at customer sites.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of

  PLCs

  (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) and

  HMI/SCADA software

  .
• Familiarity with

  industrial electrical wiring, control circuits, and instrumentation

  .
• Ability to

  read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  sensors, VFDs, relays, contactors, and control panels

  .
• Willingness to

  travel

  for site support, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
• Strong

  analytical and problem-solving

  skills with eagerness to learn advanced automation tools.
• Good

  communication skills

  and ability to work effectively in a

  team environment
