Automation Anywhere (AA) Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using

  Automation Anywhere A360

  (and earlier versions if required).
• Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities.
• Translate business processes into bot design documents and develop reusable, efficient, and scalable automation workflows.
• Perform

  bot testing, debugging, and troubleshooting

  to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize deployed bots to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, QA, Business SMEs) to deliver end-to-end RPA solutions.
• Document development processes, technical configurations, and provide support during UAT and production rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with

  RPA best practices, security, and governance standards

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience

  in RPA development, specifically with

  Automation Anywhere (A2019 / A360 / v11.x)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Bot development lifecycle

  – design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Proficiency in using Automation Anywhere components:

  Bots, IQ Bots, Bot Insights, Control Room

  .
• Experience in integrating Automation Anywhere with databases, APIs, Excel, and other applications.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as

  Python, VBScript, or JavaScript

  is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have:

• Automation Anywhere certification (

  Advanced RPA Professional / Master RPA Professional

  ).
• Exposure to other RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism) or intelligent automation platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based automation deployments.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML, OCR, and cognitive services.
