AutoCAD Designer

An HVAC AutoCAD Designer creates detailed technical drawings for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems using software like AutoCAD. Key responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, interpreting blueprints, ensuring designs comply with standards and specifications, creating 2D/3D layouts for ductwork and equipment, and revising drawings based on feedback. The role also involves coordinating with other trades, managing drawing files, and providing support during installation. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC systems using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and are integrated with other systems.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure proper placement and coordination of HVAC components.
• Modify existing designs based on feedback, engineering markups, or changes in project requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE), codes, and company protocols.
• Maintain and organize all CAD files, documentation, and drawing revisions.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Provide technical support to construction teams during the installation and commissioning phases.

Qualifications and skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other related drafting/design software (e.g., Revit).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with other team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹40,000.06 per month
