AutoCAD Designer

Job Title: AutoCAD Senior Designer (Interior Industry), Location: Bhubaneswar, Department: Design, Company Name: Vizous Interio Pvt. Ltd,  Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.   Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative AutoCAD Senior Designer for our Interior firm to lead design projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design and a strong understanding of AutoCAD, 2 D and 3D visualization tools. The role requires strong expertise in AutoCAD, a deep understanding of interior design principles, and the ability to manage a team of designers while coordinating with clients and project teams. The candidate should be able to deliver high-quality designs within deadlines while ensuring accuracy in drawings and compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities: Client Interaction & Briefing: Understand and interpret client needs through site visits, meetings, and briefs. Translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic design solutions. Design Development: Prepare detailed 2D layouts and 3D visualizations using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar. Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, and other furniture items with detailed elevations and material specs. Ensure optimal space utilization and adherence to ergonomic and safety standards. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the sales, project, and production teams to ensure smooth execution. Provide guidance and supervision to junior designers and drafters. Conduct design reviews, material selections, and finish approvals. Material & Trend Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and finishes. Recommend innovative solutions within client budgets Required Skills: Strong design portfolio in modular kitchens and home interiors Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion (or relevant software) Knowledge of modular fitting systems (e.g., Hettich, Hafele, Blum) Good understanding of wood, laminates, PU, acrylics, veneers, and surface materials Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects Preferred Attributes:   Experience working with premium modular furniture brands or turnkey interior firms Team management or leadership experience is a plus Willingness to travel for client/site meetings when required Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Certification in AutoCAD, 3D design software, or similar tools is a plus. Experience: 5 to 7 years ‘of experience required in the same field using AutoCAD and 3D design software for interior design projects (strong background in modular kitchen and home furniture design) . Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design projects or similar industry.  Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
