Audit Team Lead

You will be joining CohnReznick, a leading advisory, assurance, and tax firm with expertise in the Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing & Distribution sectors. In the role of Audit Industry CHAMP AM/ TL, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to clients in these sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Executing audit engagements for clients in consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors, from planning to completion. - Performing risk assessments and developing tailored audit programs. - Analyzing financial statements and supporting documentation for compliance with GAAP and other standards. - Identifying and communicating audit issues to senior team members and clients. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide integrated advisory and assurance solutions. - Assisting in the development of junior staff through coaching and mentoring. - Staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field. - CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred. - 5 years of public accounting experience, with a preference for audit experience. - Strong understanding of audit methodologies and accounting principles. - Experience in CHAMP industries is a plus. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
