Audit Assistant

POSITION –

QUALIFICATION

Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with min 5 years of experience in the audit of trading, manufacturing and service industry entity.

Budget – 5

RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Check and verify accounting books and records are in conformity with industry practices and corporate policies.

·      Study, inspect and assess, budgets, balance sheets and other related financial statements and records.

·      Verify and inspect accounts receivable and payable ledgers and general ledger for its accuracy.

·      Check, inspect and reconcile bank deposits and payments.

·      Check all accounting and clients databases are updated and functioning properly.

·      Inspect, test and assess software and hardware systems for its failure.

·      Supporting the accounting and auditing teams in their daily functions.

·      Ensure compliance of regulatory guidelines and generally accepted auditing standards.

·      Knowledgeably answering client audit queries in good time.

·      Preparing audit reports and statements for review.

·      Ensuring the organisation is compliant with current legislation and best practices.

·      Verifying company financial information.

·      Knowledgeably answering client audit queries in good time.

·      Execute audit assistant functions to check the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures.

·      Review, assess and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls of a business unit.

REQUIREMENT

·      Auditing background

·      Accounting knowledge for Manufacturing/Service/ Trading Concerns

·      Should have experience on Ledger and sub-ledger, journal entries.

·      Knowledge of TDS Provisions with sections

·      Knowledge of Indian Accounting standards

·      Knowledge of auditing standards and audit techniques

·      Working Knowledge of GST

·      CA Firm Experience will be preferred

·      Experience in Liaising with the client & Consultants for Financials and other matter

·      Excellent written & verbal communication skills

·      Candidate must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills

·      The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.

·      The individual will be expected to work under the guidance of senior and take     ownership of his / her work product
