Job Description

You will be working with Gateway Platforms Pvt Ltd, the parent company that focuses on bringing people, ideas, and resources together to create positive impacts in the world. The two main initiatives you will be involved in are TEDxGateway and EDGE Community. TEDxGateway is the largest TEDx program in Asia, aiming to spark global conversations by uniting top minds to share innovative ideas. On the other hand, EDGE Community is a digital private members community for thought leaders and change-makers, providing exclusive events and networking opportunities for personal and professional growth. As the Audience Outreach Sales Lead for TEDxGateway and EDGE, your primary responsibility will be engaging corporate leaders and professionals, helping them connect with the impactful experiences offered by these initiatives. You will utilize your communication and leadership skills to bring innovative ideas to life, build a network of key attendees, and ensure long-term growth and attendee retention. This role requires excellent sales acumen, relationship-building expertise, and creativity to effectively communicate the unique value of the events. Your responsibilities will include assessing and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations and demonstrations, nurturing relationships with potential attendees and sponsors, engaging in sales negotiation and closing deals, maintaining a CRM system, providing sales reporting and follow-up, analyzing the market and competitors, expanding the audience network, communicating the value proposition of TEDxGateway and EDGE, designing creative communication campaigns, and interacting with senior leaders within organizations. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, event management, or hospitality. Additionally, you should possess exceptional communication and marketing skills, at least 3 years of experience in audience engagement, event management, or sales, project management expertise, strong leadership skills, and excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently and achieve goals effectively.,
