Ast. Manager Warehouse Ops

As an Assistant Manager Warehouse Operations at our Bangalore based health-food brand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in daily operations, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring quality and safety. You will be a part of a purpose-driven company on a mission to make the country eat healthier, founded by sisters Anindita and Suhasini Sampath, with notable investors and a venture-capital funded background. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will assist in planning and organizing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient shipment handling, space utilization, and implementation of SOPs and safety regulations. Your role will involve supervising, training, and scheduling staff, monitoring their performance, and providing feedback. Additionally, you will oversee inventory control, resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Your responsibilities will also include fulfilling customer orders, addressing complaints, preparing performance reports, analyzing data, assisting in budget preparation, and contributing to cost control efforts. To excel in this role, you must have experience in a similar position, preferably in the FMCG sector, along with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. A background of 3-5 years in warehouse operations, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role, will be beneficial.
