Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assurance Associate 2 to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 6-11 years of experience in assurance services, preferably within the financial institution industry. Roles and Responsibility Develop an understanding of clients' needs and expectations, including their business and accounting systems. Perform audit procedures and tests according to RSM's audit methodology, ensuring proper documentation. Identify accounting and auditing issues and collaborate with the audit in-charge to resolve them. Assist the engagement team in preparing audit reports and management letters. Work effectively as part of a team, communicating daily with RSM audit professionals, supervisors, and senior management in the U.S. Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Commerce/MBA or Qualified Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CPA. Possess strong multi-tasking and project management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be client-focused. Exhibit strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Be able to multitask and demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience in the Financial Institution (Lending) industry is preferred.
