Job Description

We have urgent hiring for Senior Engineer /Asst. Manager for Industrial Engineering /Manufacturing Excellence Profile. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Setup & Layout Planning: Lead the layout design of production floors, assembly lines, and support infrastructure. Define equipment specifications, material flow, and utility requirements. 2. Industrial Engineering /Manufacturing Excellence: Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis. Optimize manpower, materials, and methods to improve productivity and reduce cost. Candidate shall analyze CAPEX requirements in coordination with respective departments and prepare ROI (Return on Investment) calculations accordingly. Method Improvement to Reduce Cycle Time and Setup Time. Layout Modifications to Improve Material Flow Reduce Cycle Time & Manpower Prepare SOP for operators Minimizing OEE losses. Maintain Life cycle of Jig & Fixture. Process improvement & Process validation. Improve productivity by modification in process & use new techniques. Cost optimization through improvement. Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis. Optimize manpower, materials, and methods to improve productivity and reduce cost. Establish Standard Time and Methods (MTM, MOST, or similar). 3. Lean Manufacturing/ Process Engineering: Candidate shall perform Time Study, Motion Study, Work Sampling, and Work Measurement, and ensure effective Line Balancing in accordance with Takt Time requirements. Conduct micro-motion studies to analyze operator activities and identify value-adding, non-value-adding, and waste elements to support process optimization and efficiency improvement. Drive waste elimination and minimize non-value-adding activities through the implementation of Kaizen initiatives and automation solutions. Providing in-house training (part measurement and gauging, making tooling decision, responding to machine malfunctions, machine setting, documentation & win) and implementing KAIZEN. 5s implementation on shop floor to increased productivity and minimal wastage in and around the workplace. Analysis of customer complaints, initiation and implementation of corrective & preventive actions. Undertaking regular inspections to prevent accidents and adhere to safety norms. OEE monitoring 4. New Product Introduction (NPI): Supplier Selection & Order Release for Plant Machinery, Capacity Up gradation & New Technology Feasibility check for new development models Coordinates with related department for planning, control & completion of engineering project by personally Knowledge to create FMEA,PPAP and APQP. Line layout design and machine commissioning. Line balancing and bottleneck improvement. 5. Lean & Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices across the plant. Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance throughput and reduce cycle time, waste, and cost.
