Position Title: AM /DM -Sales and Marketing

Location: Bangalore

Qualification : MBA

Experience : 5+

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth, expand customer base, and achieve revenue and market share targets in the metal industry. The role involves managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient coordination and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Identify and develop new B2B customers in domestic and export markets for metal products .
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sectors, customers, and opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, traders, and industrial customers to promote the companys products.
  • Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and finalization of commercial terms.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain close liaison with key accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers to ensure product satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints and coordinate for timely resolution in consultation with quality and production teams.
  • Conduct periodic customer satisfaction reviews and take corrective actions based on feedback.

3. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Execute marketing campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, and digital initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Prepare promotional materials, presentations, and market communication tools.
  • Gather and analyze competitor intelligence (pricing, product range, customer base, etc.) for strategic decision-making.

4. Order Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams for timely order execution and delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels at depots or plants to align sales and dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy of sales contracts, documentation, and dispatch schedules.

5. Commercial & MIS Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with companys credit policy.
  • Prepare and maintain sales MIS, customer database, and revenue forecasts.
  • Monitor receivables, outstanding payments, and initiate follow-up for collections.
  • Track regional performance and submit periodic reports to management.

6. Statutory & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to statutory and commercial requirements related to GST, e-invoicing, waybills, and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for reconciliation of accounts and tax-related documentation.
