Job Purpose:

To lead and manage a team of Agency Development Managers (ADMs) and drive business growth through the Agency Channel for Motor Insurance products. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, recruiting and developing agents, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and policy persistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Sales:

    • Drive Motor Insurance sales through the Agency Channel within the assigned cluster.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets (premium, policy count, and persistency).
    • Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies and campaigns.
  2. Team Management:

    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Agency Development Managers (ADMs) and Insurance Agents.
    • Set performance goals and provide regular coaching and motivation to the team.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure team productivity.
  3. Agency Recruitment & Development:

    • Identify potential agents and onboard them as per business guidelines.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance agent productivity and knowledge of Motor Insurance products.
    • Foster long-term relationships with agents to ensure business continuity.
  4. Operational Excellence:

    • Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and process guidelines.
    • Ensure timely resolution of customer and agent issues.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales performance, agent data, and MIS reports.
  5. Market Intelligence:

    • Keep track of competitor activities and market trends.
    • Provide insights and feedback to the management for improving product and process efficiency.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of Motor Insurance products and the agency sales model.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–8 years

    of experience in Insurance Sales (preferably Motor Insurance).
  • At least

    2–3 years of experience

    in managing a team of ADMs/Agents in the Agency Channel.

Compensation:

  • As per industry standards (CTC based on experience and current compensation).
