Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for Aftermarket to meet business objectives, ensuring the cost-effective purchasing practices.
Identify, evaluate, and select key supplier to ensure Quality, Cost, Development and Delivery.
Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers, trends, potential risks and opportunities for Aftermarket.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and conditions with suppliers.
Drive cost reduction initiates by market dynamics, Benchmarking techniques, Competitor analysis
Generate reports, zero based costing, analyzing data to track performance, Identify areas of improvements and monitoring of market conditions
Identify and communicate risks and develop mitigation strategies

Preferred candidate profile

7-10 Yrs of experience in strategic sourcing/purchasing or supplier management specially for aftermarket
String analytical, Problem-solving and negotiation skill
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of industrial trends, market dynamics, and upcoming technologies/products
proficiency of SAP, Excel and Power points
A Degree/Diploma in material management from a reputed university/institute
