Job Description

Associate Trainee - Diamond Lab

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior Diamond Lab technicians and graders in their daily tasks.
Learn and apply the basics of diamond characteristics, including the 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Color, Clarity).
Handle, sort, and organize diamonds and precious stones with extreme care and precision.
Familiarize yourself with and assist in the operation of specialized lab equipment, such as microscopes and other analytical tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment within the Diamond Lab.
Accurately record and document observations and data as required.
Adhere strictly to all company standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and security protocols.
Actively participate in all training and development programs provided by the company to enhance knowledge and skills in gemology.

Who Can Apply

Fresh graduates or individuals with minimal professional experience.
A keen interest in gemology, jewelry, or materials science is highly desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct.
Strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Basic computer literacy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
