We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Business Development Executive with 2 years of experience in the solar industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in solar tenders and a solid background in electrical or renewable energy engineering. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and business acumen to drive sales, manage client relationships, and contribute to project development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector, particularly in government and private tenders.
Conduct technical and financial analysis of solar tenders (ground-mounted & rooftop).
Coordinate with the engineering team for proposal preparation and solution design.
Interact with clients, vendors, and consultants to understand project requirements.
Support bid submission, RFP documentation, and pre/post-tender technical clarifications.
Keep updated with MNRE, SECI, DISCOMs, and other relevant solar policy frameworks.
Work closely with senior leadership to align business development strategies with company goals.
Maintain databases of leads, tenders, clients, and industry networks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Renewable Energy or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or tendering in the solar sector.
Strong understanding of solar EPC processes, policies, and tendering procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD/Solar design software is a plus.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about clean energy.
