Associate Senior Software Engineer

Description

Works throughout the software development life cycle and performs in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures. Analyze existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs. Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code.

Qualification/ Experience

• B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech (Regular)
• 3-4 Years
  

Essential Technical

• Cobol.
• JCL.
• File Handling (VSAM-All type) and Flat Files.
• Good Programming Logic
• IMS
• DB2
  

Essential Non-technical

• Good Development Experience
• Quick Issue Identification/Resolution
• Commitment to excellence
• Ability to work and deliver on initiatives.
• Understands external and internal customer expectations
• Proficient in English, good oral and written communication skills

• Create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate codes and collaborate and communicate with appropriate parties.
• Analyze existing code or formulate logic for new applications, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding and debug programs.
• Maintain and utilize application and programming documents in the development of code.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• Create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.
• Always keep the team in loop
• Be a logical interface between the team and the leadership
• Keep all stakeholders always updated.
