Associate Relationship Manager

Role & responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sourcing

• Identify potential areas and villages for JLG expansion.
  
• Conduct field visits to source new JLG customers through community meetings and mobilization.
  
• Form Joint Liability Groups as per organizational guidelines.
  
• Achieve monthly disbursement and productivity targets.
  

2. Credit Assessment & Documentation

• Conduct household income assessment and credit underwriting at the field level.
  
• Verify KYC documents and ensure accurate application submission.
  
• Coordinate with credit teams for file approval and disbursement.
  

3. Group Management & Customer Engagement

• Conduct center meetings regularlyweekly/fortnightly as per policy.
  
• Educate customers on loan terms, repayment discipline, and financial literacy.
  
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  

4. Portfolio Management

• Ensure 100% on-time collections and track overdue accounts.
  
• Take corrective actions to minimize delinquencies and manage PAR.
  
• Support recovery processes wherever needed.
  

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Follow all RBI and internal microfinance lending norms.
  
• Ensure ethical sourcing, transparent communication, and zero tolerance for mis-selling.
  
• Maintain complete and accurate records of every group and customer interaction.
  

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Field mobility and willingness to work in rural/urban outskirts.
  
• Customer-centric approach and problem-solving ability.
  
• Basic understanding of microfinance operations.
  
• Ability to handle cash collections responsibly (if applicable).
  
• Local language proficiency preferred.

• Experience in Microfinance/JLG/Field sales is an advantage.
