We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to support our Warranty Manager in handling warranty claims within our marine machinery projects. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolution of claims, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective communication across departments and with external stakeholders.

to support our Warranty Manager in handling warranty claims within our marine machinery projects. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolution of claims, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective communication across departments and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warranty Claims Processing: Receive, review, and process warranty claims submitted by vessels. Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain a comprehensive database of warranty claims, tracking product details, vendors, and resolution status. Regularly update records to reflect claim progress.
  • Customer Communication: Liaise with vendors and service centers regarding claim status. Provide clear, professional communication and assist with inquiries.
  • Warranty Analysis Support: Collaborate with the Warranty Manager to analyze data, identify trends, and suggest improvements for product reliability.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all claims comply with company warranty policies. Assist in reviewing and updating policy documentation.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on claim metrics including resolution times, costs, and trends. Share regular updates with management.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to resolve warranty-related issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with warranty policies and procedures (preferred but not required).
