Job Title: Associate Manager - Central Engineering
Location: Chennai
Reports to (Position): Manager


Department/Function: Central Engineering

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for Ensuring Uninterrupted Power supply to the Process & utility equipments. Ensure the Preventive & Condition Based maintenance Compliance of Electrical systems to reduce the incidence of major breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall reliability of Electrical equipment. Ensuring the safety of entire team including outsource related to Electrical Major Responsibilities: Executing the activities to ensure 100% Availability of Power & Utility equipments. Adherence to Preventive Maintenance, Condition Based Monitoring & Annual Maintenance as per plan. Tracking of Critical Spares Availability. Executing necessary activities for on time completion of Capex & Major Maintenance. Monthly Power Allocation to Third Party Generators to ensure Specific Power Cost of Plant Power Consumption within budget and renewable power consumption tracking. Implementation of TQM Improvements and documentations. Electrical Stores & Spares Inventory Reduction. Skills: High Voltage & Power System, VFDs, Chillers, Compressors, Boiler & Turbine, TQM, Energy Conservation, MS Office, SAP, MaintWiz. Communication Skills To be a Team Player Analysis & Problem Solving Decision Making Relevant Experience: 10 Years Education Qualification(s): B.E (Electrical & Electronics)
