Associate Manager

As an Associate Manager at Carrier Global Corporation in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will play a crucial role in leading the Refrigeration product development, focusing on platform development, architecture, scaling, deployment, and more. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with global product managers, business teams, and other product engineering teams to ensure the delivery of the product according to Carrier standards and agreed timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate strong leadership skills to lead the product engineering team in Cloud and Web technologies. - Previous experience in managing 20+ technical staff in Cloud and Web with a good understanding of NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript, and AWS Cloud Native services. - Exhibit strong project management and people leadership skills. - Lead multiple software product teams effectively, being hands-on in leading agile teams by working closely with global stakeholders. - Responsible for estimating efforts, identifying dependencies, and providing technical solutions by collaborating with other technical team members. - Possess solid team skills to comprehend team dynamics, address challenges, and resolve issues effectively. - Act as a technology champion/mentor, assisting others in adapting to new technology. - Ensure a strong commitment to on-time, quality delivery of all projects and deliverables. - Proactively identify risks and failure modes early in the development lifecycle. - Demonstrate self-drive, motivation, organization, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects within a team environment. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. **Qualifications Required:** - 11+ years of experience, progressing from a developer to a technical manager role. Hands-on experience is essential. - BE/B.Tech/M.TECH/MCA/MS degree in Computer Science or IT. - Preference will be given to candidates who have worked as technical manager in IoT, Cloud, and Web technologies. - Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified in AWS Solution Architect.
