Job Description

  1. Job Purpose
The Assistant CAM will be responsible to ensure the airworthiness of our trainer aircraft fleet and fixed training devices at the FTO, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  1. Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement a Continuing Airworthiness Management System (CAMS), ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for all aircrafts and fixed training devices, ensure maintenance and inspections, and tracking of maintenance records.
  • Maintain all documents related to trainer aircraft and fixed training devices on track as per regulatory requirements.
  • Report all the information on incidents and accidents related to maintenance, safety and operations to internal CAMO and regulators.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Minimum Education requirements
Technical (Diploma/Bachelor s) degree in field / master s degree

Experience
  • [4+ for Associate Mgr] / [2+ for Senior Assoc.] years experience in aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness management
  • Prior experience in DGCA-approved positions in FTOs/ATOs/Airlines/NSOPs in India
  • 6+/3+ years experience in aircraft maintenance and airworthiness department
  • Prior experience with similar fleet (Piper & Diamond)
