: Associate Manager, BP Finance - (East)

Location

Purpose of the Job:

Responsible to support effective financial planning and decision-making at the zonal/regional level by managing pricing strategies, monitoring commercial policies, conducting expense reviews, performing reconciliations and financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with GST and income tax regulations. The role ensures alignment with budgetary goals, enhances operational efficiency, and maintains financial accuracy through timely reporting and corrective actions.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Pricing & Commercial Policy;

Tracking Competition Sell Out Pricing & Promotions Competition benchmarking on Commercial Policy and Process Regular reporting to Management on price positioning

2. GL Accounts Review;

Monthly review of expenses Monthly update on SG&A Budget Vs Actuals Ensuring expenses are incurred within the approved budget at the Zonal/ Regional level

3. Reconciliation & Analysis;

Establishing P.O. based payments at Zonal Office Vendor reconciliation Credit Note/ Debit Note Pre & Post reconciliation of scheme effectiveness Financial analysis on various zonal/regional level activities

4. GST and income tax related activities;

GST Reconciliation of ITC availed but not eligible, ITC available but not availed etc. Taking corrective actions on vendors who have not submitted their returns Ensure that vendors are appointed with valid GST and PAN Sell-out Price and Policy benchmarking. Review of Expenses. Reconciliation and MIS. GST and Income Tax related activities

Skills:

Strong Commercial and Accounting skills backed by good analytical ability Ability to work seamlessly across functions and liaise with all stake holders Initiative, attention to detail, very strong execution skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant Experience:

2-3 years of experience in FMCG or Consumer Durables.
