Associate Manager - Accounts

As an Accounts Manager at iTeach Schools, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting and compliance functions of the organization. You will directly work with the Finance Manager and lead a team of 4-5 Associates. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring Accounts And Compliance: - Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring proper maintenance of financial records, including the preparation of financial statements, reports/MIS, and audit closure. - Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as FCRA, TDS, PT, IT, PF, ESIC, and GST. - Managing external and internal audits, and presenting quarterly compliance and team-level reporting to the management. - Liaising with multiple stakeholders like leadership, auditors, donors, program staff, consultants, and banking personnel. - Managing Budgets And Processes: - Creating, reviewing, and updating SOPs across functions. - Managing and authorizing expenses according to approved budgets. - Refining the program accounting and reporting systems. - Building and enhancing the capacities of the Finance team. Qualification & Experience: - Semi-Qualified CA with 3+ years of post articleship work experience in accounts, taxation, and financial compliance. - Proficiency in Income Tax, TDS, PT, and GST compliance. - Management experience. - Preferred: Prior work experience in an NGO. - Preferred: Experience in FCRA, PF, ESIC. Competencies: - Managerial and leadership qualities. - Proficiency in Excel and Tally. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English. - Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities. - Logical thinker and effective problem solver. - Willingness to learn.
