Job Description

Associate Manager Accounts is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, handling invoices and vendor payments, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The individual will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

Handling day-to-day accounting entries in Accounting Software
Handle accounts payable, including vendor payments and cross-border payments.
Invoicing to customers and Accounts Receivable management. Following up with customers for payment and escalating to management where necessary.
Liaison with Banks and handle banking transactions.
Maintain general ledger entries and ensure proper accounting principles are followed.
Responsible for GST, TDS, PF, ESI filings
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash flow management.
Maintain appropriate documentation and filing of financial records.
Supporting Audit and other statutory compliances
Prepare MIS by Entity and consolidated.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
7-8 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Understanding of accounting principles and standards
Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
Working knowledge of Xero or any other accounting Package will be an add-on
Familiarity with statutory compliance like GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.
Experience working in a startup or multi-entity, cross border environment
