About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of transactional legal experience with a strong focus on general corporate law, corporate finance, and information technology transactions.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about technology and its legal implications, and enjoys working on complex, high-impact transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a wide range of transactions including:
• Joint ventures
• Software and systems development & licensing
• Technology transfer & R&D agreements
• Intellectual property licensing (patent, trademark, copyright)
• Biotechnology, Internet, and eCommerce transactions
• Mergers & Acquisitions, financing, and restructuring deals
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts with a focus on data security and privacy provisions.
• Provide strategic legal advice on technology-related legal matters and emerging IT issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B or equivalent); additional certifications in technology law are a plus
• Minimum 4 years of relevant transactional legal experience
• Solid understanding of technology-related legal frameworks and regulatory environments
• Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory, particularly in data security and privacy
