What will you do at Ciena?

Learn

SD-WAN and Multi-Cloud secure connections
Cloud-based firewalls, IDS & IPS
Enterprise Core Routing & Switch
Enterprise Wi-Fi & BLE
Remote Access

Implement

Products – Ciena, VeloCloud, Zscaler, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5
Cloud – Azure, AWS, OCI Interconnections, Firewalls & Web Application Firewalls

Operational Support

Participate 24x7 scheduled On-call rotation
Handle trouble ticket escalations from Service Desk, other IT teams or Business Units
Drive escalations to resolution with technologies vendors
Own Root Cause Analysis and Long-Term Fix

Automation

Orchestration & Configuration Management – Terraform & Ansible

Documentation

Generate & maintain via Sharepoint Online and JIRA

Education And Experience

B.S. degree computer science, related degree or relevant experience
1 - 5 years concentrated experience in the area of IT Network Infrastructure
Require active working experience with routing, switching, Wi-Fi, or firewalls solutions
Cisco, Juniper or Aruba certifications desired, but not required
Knowledge of Azure, AWS or OCI is a plus
