You have an exciting opportunity to join a leading professional services consulting firm, WSP, as a C&I Engineer specializing in Detailed Design Engineering for Desalination/Power Plants and other sectors. As part of the team, you will be responsible for the following minimum services: - Monitor, control, and execute project design and review activities within schedule and budget constraints. - Coordinate with internal engineers to deliver project outputs as per schedule. - Interact with clients to understand and fulfill their requirements. - Ensure all deliverables comply with project and client requirements, maintaining high quality standards. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to possess the following mandatory skills: - Detailed knowledge and proven application in general instrumentation & control designs for energy and industry domains. - Strong technical background in Power, Water, Waste water, and/or Renewable sectors. - Experience in Field Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems. - Reviewing interface with PLC, SCADA, DCS, and Metering Systems. - Proficiency in preparing various design reports and tender documents. - Leading technical meetings with clients and contractors. - Ability to assess designs, support project teams, and implement design modifications. - Experience in attending factory acceptance testing and consultancy bid proposals. - Willingness to travel as required. Desired skills include understanding project lifecycles and technical project management. The qualifications required for this role are a Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics Engineering, with at least 12 to 15 years of proven industry experience. A Master's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering is advantageous, and membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
