Role Description Trade Operations Key Responsibilities Exp-2 to 4 yrs Location-Chennai Ensure all assigned transactions and tasks are completed on time. Follow up or escalate issues when necessary. Organize your workload effectively and know when to escalate issues to senior team members. Assist in resolving any stock or cash mismatches. Escalate unresolved problems based on criteria such as age, value, or client importance. Take full ownership of additional tasks or projects and complete them within agreed deadlines. Handle client and stakeholder queries professionally with clear and timely communication. Adhere to internal procedures carefully and report any risks or concerns honestly. Share and support ideas to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Collaborate well with your team to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Build strong working relationships with other teams, portfolio managers, dealers, and external partners to support daily operations. Skills And Behaviours Required Demonstrates a continuous desire to learn more about transaction processes. Actively involved in improving daily work processes. Able to plan and manage your work even when priorities change. Makes sound decisions in routine situations and seeks help when needed. Manages time effectively and consistently meets deadlines. Acts as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members. Reports any issues clearly and promptly, ideally on the same day they are identified. Essential Knowledge & Experience Experience using the Aladdin platform. Strong attention to detail. Skilled in Microsoft Excel. Additional Useful Experience Knowledge of derivatives and collateral management. Experience in trade operations across asset types such as equities, fixed income, FX, money markets, etc. Background in cash operations, especially payment processing. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards. Understanding of corporate actions, including mandatory/voluntary events and income processing. Awareness of operational risks in the transaction and asset lifecycle.
