Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the mechanical team to ensure smooth operation of the power plant
Develop and implement strategies to optimize mechanical systems and processes
Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall plant performance
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Implement cost-effective measures without compromising on quality
Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements
Prepare reports and present findings to senior management
Mentor and coach junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems in the power/energy industry
Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis
Experience with maintenance planning and reliability engineering
Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
