Job Description

As an Associate Controller at the General Ledger Controlling organization, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the finance and operations organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to global accounting processes, IFRS, and group guidelines, guaranteeing timely and accurate accounting and reporting. Additionally, you will be in charge of liaising with auditors and implementing continuous improvements in General Ledger, cost center accounting, controlling, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform month-end accounting and reporting activities in SAP, MS Excel, and other process-specific tools. - Review, validate, and update accounting records, process documents, and reports to ensure compliance. - Provide timely updates to stakeholders such as Technology LT, FBPs, procurement, OPSCM, and PTP teams. - Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliations and follow up on open items. - Ensure correct accounting, controlling, and reporting in SAP at all levels: GL, cost center, and Internal Order. - Engage with the Onsite Head Quarters Finance team for monthly cost sign-off and provide explanations for management reporting. - Adhere to the RICC control framework and perform controls attestation. - Audit agencies operating in Head Quarter geography. - Suggest recommendations for process and system improvements to enhance the control environment. Qualifications Required: - Financial educational background such as Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Post Graduate (MBA), CA/CWA Finalist, M. Com, B.com, etc. - Minimum 3 - 7 years of post-qualification work experience in accounting and reporting, preferably in book closing, finalization, and reporting. - Good working knowledge of SAP and experience in cost center and internal order setup. - Proactive, self-motivated, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. - Excellent analytical and structured working methods. - Good communication skills in written and verbal English. - Adaptable to a dynamic environment and capable of handling high workload and unplanned activities. - Team player with the ability to achieve results and foster teamwork.
