As an Associate Analyst in the Risk Management Services (RMS) team at EY, your role involves executing globally defined processes in accordance with EY Global (EYG) Independence policies. You will be assisting client-serving teams in maintaining EY's independence for both existing and prospective audit/non-audit clients. Your responsibilities include: - Developing a working knowledge of firm-level Independence concepts - Performing work procedures as per EYG Independence policies - Conducting research and analysis to support independence-related tasks - Reviewing submissions from client-serving teams and ensuring completeness and accuracy - Communicating with project managers and team members to follow up on tasks - Planning and organizing work, keeping project managers informed of status - Identifying and flagging potential issues to project managers in a timely manner In order to excel in this role, you must have: - Graduates/Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute - 6 months to 2 years of experience in research and analysis within a professional services firm - Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English Key Technical Expertise required: - Thorough understanding of clients' company structure and audit client relationships - Conducting secondary research using internal and external databases - Analyzing research findings and providing recommendations - Upholding quality, completeness, and appropriateness of assigned tasks - Meeting/exceeding defined individual KPIs for the role - Proficiency in MS Office tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint - Familiarity with navigating external databases like Capital IQ, Factiva Skills and attributes for success: - Displaying responsiveness in communication - Working with an inclusive mindset - Possessing a client-centric and enablement mindset - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting client expectations - Upholding ethical standards and integrity - Willingness to adapt to new digital tools for efficiency At EY, you can look forward to working in a dynamic environment with a team focused on growth and client enablement.
