Job Description

Position Title:

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and technically driven professional to join our BIS ESD Service team. The role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of multifunction devices and software solutions at client sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt and effective service.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Service

  • Install and maintain multifunction devices and related software solutions.
  • Understand customer IT setups, assist in POC (Proof of Concept), and deliver product demos.
  • Conduct timely installations and train customer administrators.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using specialized product knowledge and training.
  • Coordinate with central teams, warehouse, and service teams for spare parts and logistics.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, productivity, and adherence to TAT (Turn-Around Time) standards.

Customer Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Assess customer needs, identify upselling opportunities, and contribute to account reviews.
  • Monitor and enhance print volumes in assigned territories.
  • Provide proactive support and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Engineering/Diploma in Electronics or Electronics & Communication.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    CCNA, MCSE, or similar IT/network certifications.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3 years of experience in servicing multifunction devices, IT, or office automation products.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in repair and maintenance of multifunction devices and software solutions.
  • Sound understanding of IT networks, servers, operating systems, and related software.
  • Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
