Job Description

As the Senior Manager/Associate Director of R2R GPO in the Finance department of a product-based pharma company, your role involves strategic ownership, standardization, and continuous improvement of global R2R processes. You will lead efforts to optimize process efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver best-in-class service while aligning with organizational objectives. Building strong partnerships with regional leads, business units, and external service providers will be crucial to enhancing process performance and governance. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: - Strategic Ownership & Governance: - Develop and execute the global R2R strategy aligned with organizational goals. - Define and enforce global R2R policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring local compliance. - Act as the global escalation point for R2R-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction. - Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: - Drive process standardization and harmonization across regions using technology and best practices. - Identify opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve cycle times within R2R processes. - Lead digital transformation initiatives like automation, AI, and analytics tools to enhance process capabilities. - Performance Management: - Conduct regular reviews of process performance with stakeholders, identifying and addressing gaps or improvement opportunities. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: - Partner with Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders for seamless integration of R2R processes into end-to-end operations. - Build strong relationships with external service providers. - Risk Management & Compliance: - Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements related to R2R processes. - Develop and maintain a strong internal control framework to mitigate risks within the R2R function. - Leadership & Team Development: - Mentor and guide regional R2R leads and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. - Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of process changes across the organization. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience with 6+ years in financial management leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
