Job Description

Role Summary Contribute to organizational development by building and maintaining strong business connections in the financial services market, one of the major responsibilities. To assist in enhancing the Company’s business and expanding its customer base. Primary Responsibilities Meeting key decision makers, decision influencers, and other senior officials to increase the visibility of Brickwork Ratings (BWR) in the financial services sector, which includes meeting large corporates, banks, and key stakeholders in the public sector and Government organizations. Acquiring new clients through focused research and a consultative approach. Maintain continuous relationships with existing and new clients, focusing on enhancing business and increasing the market share of BWR. Mentoring and guiding the team members in fostering client relations to enhance the client base and meet their business targets. Inculcate team discipline to update the MIS reports, such as client pipeline and business acquisition status. Be constantly updated on market developments across a portfolio of clients, competition, regulations, and best industry practices. Ensuring timely invoicing and prompt client payments. Enhance social media presence in collaboration with the digital marketing team. Competency / Skills Leadership skills, organizational mindset, and creative thinking are of utmost importance to build a strong team of business development professionals. A strong business acumen and a mindset of looking past the current momentum of the industry and spotting upcoming opportunities before the competition does. A keen listener - you engage in a 2-sided conversation with the prospects/clients - ask the right questions, and listen to their response, aiming at a better conversion ratio. Brand-building qualities - content creation to build the organization’s brand, focusing on the customer’s needs and aligning them with the products and services. High levels of enthusiasm & energy, which go a long way in engaging and selling to the clients Selfless leadership skills for building the foundation of trust and loyalty among the customers and team members, with a willingness to fight alongside by removing any roadblocks. People skills to attract, retain, and get the most out of top talent and to close big deals. Team building skills to establish a strong team that you can trust implicitly and motivate them to work well together, and encourage an openness where all members exchange ideas for better team performance. Educational Qualification: Post-Graduation in Management / Marketing or a similar domain related to Business Development. Experience: 18 to 20 years of prior experience in business development in the financial services domain. Candidates from the credit rating agencies/ banking, or any other financial services industry, who can join early, will be given preference.
