Job Description

As the Associate Director, Regional HR at Syneos Health, your role involves managing a broad range of employee and labor relations activities to create a positive and compliant workplace environment. This includes implementing programs to enhance employee engagement, resolving workplace issues, overseeing labor/union negotiations, and ensuring compliance with diversity, equity, and equal employment opportunity standards. Your strategic and tactical direction will guide individual contributors and supervisors towards delivering short-term operational results. You will also oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of team responsibilities to align with departmental goals. Your deep expertise in a professional discipline will be crucial in leading projects, processes, and team performance effectively. **Core Responsibilities:** - Manage regional deployment of global HR policies while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. - Partner with HR CoEs and Legal for impact assessments and localization of policies. - Collaborate with Quality, Legal, Compliance, and third-party providers for HR-related audits and inspections. - Provide data and insights to regional leadership team/HRBPs on compliance trends and legislative changes. - Act as a trusted advisor to align people initiatives with regional business goals. - Offer advice on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management. - Represent the region in global people initiatives and ensure local relevance. - Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters and ensure compliance with local laws and internal policies. - Manage relationships with employee representative bodies and provide insights on local legislative requirements. - Monitor and provide feedback on employee lifecycle processes for efficiency and compliance. - Partner with CRESS and Health & Safety for Workday knowledge base content and deployment of culture initiatives. - Support organizational shifts and provide regional people data for decision-making. **Qualifications & Education Requirements:** - Minimum Bachelor's Degree in human resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred. - 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with 4 years in a leadership capacity. **Additional Qualifications:** - Strong knowledge of local employment law, data privacy regulations, and labor relations. - CIPD qualification preferred or equivalent local HR certification. - Experience in complex HR casework, audits, policy implementation, and employment law changes. - Excellent advisory, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data, guide decisions, and influence strategic outcomes. - Fluency in local language and English.
