Job Description

As an Associate Director, People Operations at our company, your role will involve leading the global people operations function to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely HR operations. You will manage a high-performing India-based team, overseeing various aspects such as the employee lifecycle, HR helpdesk, compliance activities, and program operations for company-wide initiatives like performance management and our AI HR service platform. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead daily HR operations to ensure consistent and timely delivery across the employee lifecycle. - Manage the HR helpdesk (Jira) by driving SLA adherence and focusing on self-service where possible. - Oversee AI HR service platform operations (Wisq) including governance, maintenance, and monitoring of service levels. - Execute operational components of HR programs such as performance review cycles and compliance training. - Monitor and maintain accurate production and storage of employee documents. - Own global HR compliance operations in alignment with local laws and in partnership with HR and Legal stakeholders. - Manage recurring and adhoc report requests ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to appropriate stakeholders. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that processes are followed, SLAs are met, compliance obligations are fulfilled globally, and services are delivered efficiently and with care. You will also maintain our HR knowledge base to be fresh, AI-ready, and easily navigable for quick access to information by employees and managers. **Qualifications Required:** - 12+ years of HR operations or shared services experience in a global company, including managing U.S. operations from India. - 5+ years of experience managing teams, preferably in a centralized HR service delivery environment. - Hands-on Workday HCM experience with a strong understanding of business processes, security, reporting, and troubleshooting. - Experience with HR helpdesk/ticketing tools (Jira preferred) and documentation platforms (SharePoint preferred). - Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and program operations. - Experience owning or coordinating global HR compliance processes in partnership with HR and Legal teams. - Experience supporting global HR programs from an operational perspective. - Clear communicator with the ability to work across cultures and time zones. - Experience in fast-paced environments, with familiarity with AI tools or automation platforms used to improve HR service delivery.
