Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the OMC Shared Services (3P) overseeing the process, 3P team of accountants and serving as the main point of contact between the OREG business team and OMC Shared Services (3P) Oversee recording of various recurring monthly journal entries such as benefit expenses, prepaid and fixed assets amortization and depreciation, rent, legal and other charges from OMC corporate netting statements
  • Ensure that various balance sheet account reconciliations prepared in line with requirements Supervise intercompany reconciliation, reporting and balance collection and serve as an escalation point for various issues
  • Oversee other various responsibilities of the team including maintenance of fixed assets sub-ledger and fixed asset reporting, completion of payroll uploads twice a month, GL uploads to HFM during month end as well as population of some HFM schedules
  • Monitoring various state and local tax payment submissions and return preparation
  • Support external and internal (SOX) audit testing by coordinating retrieval of supporting documentation
  • Actively involve in Ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in accounting or related field with 14+ years of experience in accounting operations. Must have led a group of accountants. Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new accounting software s. Having Knowledge of US GAAP. Advanced Excel skills are required including knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups and conditional formulas. Aptitude be proactive, a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and communicate effectively within and outside Accounting department Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment Essential stakeholder management skills Desirable Skills & Attributes Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, MediaOcean, and Hyperion experience is a plus
